Optics and mechanics: Uncompromising stability
Avoiding moving parts in the optics system is the basis for increased stability and measurement accuracy and repeat precision. The permanently installed cameras are safely protected from dust and ambient light in the jacketed measuring chamber of the machine.
Certified accuracy
According to VDI/VDE 2617, the accuracy of a measuring machine is assessed by various measurements at different intervals on a certified calibration standard. WALTER uses a certified plug gauge or, optionally, a glass scale for increased accuracy.
Massive granite base
